An interactive multimedia biology package for teachers and students of classes IX-XII. The package is based on a user-friendly menu-driven program. Basic concepts like the photosynthesis process, requirements: mechanism, significance, C3 and C4 pathways have been dealt in a simple and easily understandable manner. The added attractions include the image gallery and milestones in photosynthesis. Laboratory activities have been recorded live in a school set up to generate added interest. Graphics, animations, simulations, models and videos in as well as hypertexted additional information at appropriate locations help in making the package more comprehensible for the user. Integrated audio description with the package lends to holistic teaching learning environment. The evaluation purpose of the package can be derived from the question bank at the end, making this package a complete learning tool.
