Mendel's Principles

                     Principle of dominance :
For each trait in the garden   pea, one orm of the trait
was always dominant over the other.

                         Principle of segregation :
The members of an allele pair separate
                                                             into different gamets.

                        Principle of independent assortment :
                                                           Alleles for different traits behave
independently as they assort into the gamets.
