An interactive multimedia Physics package for teachers and students of classes IX-XII. Some concepts of light like reflection, etc, are useful for the upper primary classes also. Basic concepts like reflection, refraction, etc have been explained with interactive ray diagrams. The package also describes optical instruments, optical defects and optics in nature with the help of animations, simulations, models and videos as well as hyper-texted additional information at appropriate locations. Laboratory activities have been recorded live in a school set-up to generate added interest. Integrated audio description with the package lends to holistic teaching learning environment. The package is based on a ‘branching system’, which allows users to choose their own learning pathway through the package.
