Smt. Pushp Lata Verma (Lecturer)
She joined the NCERT as Lecturer in Zoology. She is engaged in regular classroom teaching and practicals of B.Sc, B.Ed. (I-IV years) and B.Ed. (I & II years) level programmes. During this period, she attended several instructive programmes and organized educational activities viz., internship programme, ‘working with community’, and invigilating university exams. As a member of “Development of Environmental Education Theme Park for strengthening school and college education programme,” she developed an Activity Manual for students. As a resource person, she delivered many lectures and conducted practical for PAC programmes on Biology for class XI, XII and Refresher course for Biology at PGTs level.
As an internal resource person, she organized “Orientation Programme for Master Trainers and Teachers of KVs, NVs, CBSE schools on New Textbooks Developed by NCERT following NCF-2005. She also conducted training programmes for Teacher Educators. Presently, she is a coordinator of “Orientation programme for Teacher Educators in the use of Information Technology (IT) tools and IT-based learning resources” and orienting teacher educators from SCERTs, SIEs, DIETs, and other institutions from different States and Union Territories. She has some publications in her credit. Her article “Sager Ka Kaher – Tsunami’ and “Water Pollution” are published in NCERT Journal Prathmik Shikshak and School Science, are important.
